A closer look at work from home
There is no denying in the tremendous increase in the number of online businesses in the past 10 years, not only in the USA, but just about any place where computers can be accessed easily. As we all know that, among many online businesses run by good and honest people, there are some online businesses run by bad and unscrupulous people whose primary objective is to con money out of unsuspecting naive people who are desperately looking online for jobs due to their circumstances such as being a stay-home-parent with kids, wheelchair bound, or whatever their unique circumstances could be that made them think that online jobs made more sense. I decided to look around online, about 2 years ago, after seeing so many popups about home based jobs such as paid online surveys, freelance jobs, etc to see if they were another one of online schemes to rip you off. After I signed up with many of them, of course I couldn’t check all, and receiving hundreds, if not thousands, of junk emails from them I was able to tell which ones were good and bad. As in real life, we have to be careful and take some precautions by finding out if there is a physical address of business or a phone number or even by checking it out on BBB.org (Better Business Bureau) online before typing in our sensitive information.
2008 Top Work At Home Programs
Work from home programs are in great demand with the coming of another year. Some people are looking to replace their day job, while others are looking to simply make some extra money to pay bills. After the holidays it’s no surprise as many people have been forced to use their credit cards to pay for gifts, trips and normal bills.
Some are looking to create additional income so they can buy back some time. Many have a great desire to spend more time with friends and family. I can say that it is very enjoyable to be able to work from the comfort of your home.
Well, you might be wondering what types of work at home programs you could do. Well if you have minimal typing skills, a computer and access to the Internet you can more than likely do the following programs:
1. Data Entry
2. Type At Home
3. Rebate Processing
4. Online Paid Surveys
5. Home Phone Jobs
6. Chat room support
There are also programs whereby you can save money on the things you already buy monthly, which leaves more money for other things. You can share these programs with others and be paid a small affiliate fee. You would be surprised how many different ways there are to free up or create more income monthly. You have to be willing to try. Some people are not willing to change their buying habits. For those people the programs listed from 1- 6 are probably a better fit.
Many people tend to do multiple programs. The reason is, they can create multiple income streams and focus on the types of programs they enjoy the most.
Whatever you reasons or goals are, you can find at home work that will meet your needs. It takes some time and research. I recommend either using a web site like mine, but not necessarily mine, that has done the research or be prepared to do it yourself. It must be done, as there are plenty of companies that will take your time and money giving you nothing in return.

As a web site owner I realized that there were several key areas that need to be considered before deciding the 2007 Top 10 programs types. Well, actually there are many criteria that come into play, but stepping back it boils down to two things. They are as follows:
* Research and find what appeared to be the best work at home jobs.
* Monitor companies on a real time basis to ensure they stay consistent.
As web site owner it’s easy to realize that you can do the up front research, but it becomes harder to monitor many programs on a real time basis. After careful thought and I’m sure many others have realized as well, I turned to the frequent visitors of my web site to tell me what works for them. I also ask what types of programs they would like to see in the future. After all without happy customers you cannot have a viable web site. Here are the types of feedback I requested from visitors of my site when doing my research.
* Feed back on any programs they choose to join. This gives real time feed back on programs offered from the people that count. This helps ensure that a program offers the step-by-step guidance and support necessary for subscribers to succeed.
* Suggestion on web page relevance and presentation to make it easier to understand and use.
* Ease of use and customer support of any program they decide to use.
I decided to give more weight to the last few months of 2007 due the constant change of programs on the Internet. The program types listed are the programs that I found to give a person the best chance for success. They are further sorted by the popularity on my site from visitors over the year.
